In fact, once you have sent us your full book manuscript in Microsoft Word format and we have agreed to work with you, we will take the following 7 steps, as quickly as possible.

1) We will use the latest AI technology to proof read and correct any issues with your manuscript.

2) We will format your manuscript into a publishable state that is acceptable to Amazon.

3) We will design a book cover for your book.

4) We will upload your title ready for sale on Amazon

5) We will release your book for sale in hardback, paperback and digital editions (if it is suitable to be released in all three).

6) We will publicise your book via our website and through social networking sites.

7) If your book becomes a bestseller, both Gurtiverse and you share in that success!

Our Rules For Accepting A Book For Publishing.

1) As we primarily publish books in Hardback, Paperback and Digital Editions through Amazon, we adhere 100% to their policies and rules for book submissions. Your submission must therefore also follow these rules.

2) Any book you submit to us for publishing and all content within it must be your own original work.

2) Any book submitted must not already be in the public domain.

3) We only accept manuscripts formatted in Word.

4) We only publish content that is legal.

5) It is your legal responsibility to make sure that what you send to us is 100% legal worldwide.

6) Any book submitted to gurtiverse.com by you is done so at your own risk. We take no legal responsibility for coincidentally publishing similar or derivative works now or in the future.

What we pay writers when Gurtiverse publishes their books.

• Gurtiverse is not a vanity publisher, and we therefore do not charge any upfront fees to an author who wishes to have their work published by us.

• We work on a profit share basis with authors and unlike other publishers, we tell authors in advance exactly what they will be paid when we sell their books.

• Once we publish your book on Amazon, you will be paid a guaranteed flat fee of £1.00 (UK Sterling) for every copy of your book that we sell that is a hardback copy, a paperback copy or a full digital copy - after the first 50 copies of that book are sold. Author profits from sales are calculated every 3 months and sent out to authors.

• We also enrol your book as a Free Book on Amazon's "Kindle Unlimited" scheme but do not pay authors for page reads from this scheme. We are very honest about this.

• Gurtiverse takes all profits from the first 50 copies of any book published by us and sold through Amazon by us. This helps us to cover the cost of the time it takes us to edit your manuscript into a publishable state and format it for Amazon. It also covers the time it takes for us to create a book cover for your book and upload the title to Amazon.

• This means that if your book sells less than 50 copies you do not make a penny but neither do we, as it has cost us time in terms of working hours to get your book ready for sale.

• However, on the other hand, if your book becomes a huge Amazon Best Seller and shifts 1 million copies, both Gurtiverse and you share in that success. This also means that you will be paid £999,950.

• Lastly, we never negotiate other deals with authors, it is simply not worth our time. We prefer to keep things simple.

  (Please note that we do not do back cover design work as this can be done simply by you, when you upload your book or sale.   We can format a book into an electronic Kindle Create document, so that it is ready to be uploaded for sale on Amazon. This service is payable in advance.

Terms and Conditions.

As a book publisher, we believe that providing access to the written word is important. We carefully consider the types of content that we publish and review our approach regularly, listening to feedback and investigating concerns from our customers. We reserve the right to remove content from sale and from our social media feeds and website, if we determine it creates a poor customer experience.

Authors are responsible for adhering to our content guidelines. We invest significant time and resources to enforce these guidelines, using a combination of machine learning, automation, and human reviewers. We’ll reject or remove content that does not adhere to these guidelines and promptly investigate any book when notified of potential noncompliance. We may also request additional information relating to your book before it's available for sale. If we remove a title, we let the author know and they can appeal our decision.

These guidelines apply to book content, including title, cover art, and product description.

Note: Books that are translations of another work must credit the translator and the original author in the contributor field. If the work is not a new translation and the translator is unknown, the author should list the translator as "Anonymous" in the credits of the book.

Illegal or infringing content

We take violations of laws and proprietary rights very seriously. It is the responsibility of authors and selling partners to ensure their content doesn't violate laws or copyright, trademark, brand, privacy, publicity, or other rights. We will not accept content under copyright that is freely available on the web unless it’s provided by the owner of the copyright. In addition, we do not allow companion books based on copyrighted works (e.g., summaries, study guides, etc.) to be published outside the U.S. without written permission from the copyright holder.

Offensive content

We don’t accept, publish or sell certain content including content that we determine is hate speech, promotes the abuse or sexual exploitation of children, contains pornography, glorifies rape or pedophilia, advocates terrorism, or other material we deem inappropriate or offensive.

Artificial intelligence (AI) content (text, images, or translations)

We require you to inform us of AI-generated content (text, images, or translations) when you submit a manuscript or any other content to us for potential publication. AI-generated images include cover and interior images and artwork. You are not required to disclose AI-assisted content. We distinguish between AI-generated and AI-assisted content as follows.

• AI-generated: We define AI-generated content as text, images, or translations created by an AI-based tool. If you used an AI-based tool to create the actual content (whether text, images, or translations), it is considered "AI-generated," even if you applied substantial edits afterwards.

• AI-assisted: If you created the content yourself, and used AI-based tools to edit, refine, error-check, or otherwise improve that content (whether text or images), then it is considered "AI-assisted" and not “AI-generated.” Similarly, if you used an AI-based tool to brainstorm and generate ideas, but ultimately created the text or images yourself, this is also considered "AI-assisted" and not “AI-generated.” It is not necessary to inform us of the use of such tools or processes.

You are responsible for verifying that all AI-generated and/or AI-assisted content adheres to all content guidelines, including by complying with all applicable intellectual property rights.

Poor customer experience

Books for sale on Amazon should provide a positive customer experience. We do not allow descriptive content meant to mislead customers or that doesn't accurately represent the content of the book. We reserve the right to change the categories of a book we publish at any time to ensure a positive customer experience. We reserve the right to remove a book from sale at anytime if for any reason we are not happy with it.

Public domain content

We do not publish content that is in the public domain and or has previously been in the public domain.

Score and lyrics for songs managed by copyright management companies (Japan Only)

Content containing scores and lyrics from songs managed by copyright management companies, including JASRAC, cannot be published by gurtiverse.com.

Final Word On Our Terms and Conditions

Once again, gurtiverse.com reserve the right to remove a book from sale at any time if for any reason, we are not happy with it. No discussion will be entered into, our decision is final.

We will also remove a book from sale if it breaks any of our rules, terms or conditions. We will not be drawn into any further discussion on this. It is 100% the legal responsibility of the writer who submits any manuscript to us, to make sure that it does not break these rules.
